Day 4

Today was a very productive day for the TechTigers. The design team continued to construct the robot in Autodesk Inventor, as well as giving basic lessons in Inventor to members who are unfamiliar with the program.

The animation team is also working on the animation, drawing on ideas that were planned during the off season, as well as new concepts developed since Kickoff last Saturday.

This weekend is the Florida FLL State Competition at Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, FL. One of the two FLL teams 1251 mentors, FAU AD Henderson's Robohawks, qualified for the state competition and four TechTigers [Koza, Kenny, John, and Melissa] will be traveling with the team to continue mentoring them at the competition. [Check back throughout the weekend for status on the competition.] In preparation for the competition this weekend, Matt, Kenny, and Melissa went to FAU to aid the Robohawks with last minute practices and packing. Good luck, Robohawks!

There will be a meeting tomorrow morning from 8am-12:30 pm, where much is expected to happen. Also, Dave [alumni] is coming down from UCF to help out, so that is sure to be a great time. Keep at it, 1251!
