Wow, what a long and eventful day for the TechTigers. We had our final three qualifying matches and won them, making us the 1st seeded alliance. During the alliance pickings, our team represented by Melissa, we chose teams 1626 and 1758 to join us. In the elimination rounds, we won both our quarter-finals and semi-finals matches, advancing us to the finals against 832, 342, and 1319, where we lost 1-2. It was an intense elimination round and we has some technical difficulties with our robot during the finals rounds, but all in all, we were very pleased with the outcome, as
we, along with 1626 and 1758, are the 2007 Palmetto Regional Finalists. We also won the
2007 Palmetto Regional Motorola Quality Award, whcih was very exciting. Tomorrow morning we depart back to South Florida and in less than two weeks [with Spring Break next week! yay!] we depart to Atlanta, Georgia for the 2007 Championship Event.
Team 1251 would like to thank teams 1626 and 1758, as well as our mentors, chaperones, family, friends, and everyone whose helped our team - we know we couldn't do anything without you. Awesome job, 1251!
