Build Day 1

We read through the rules to give everyone a clear understanding of what we're up against.

The second half of the time was spent inventorying the kit, re-imaging the classmate PC, and working on assembling the scoring grid.

I didn't get any pictures from yesterday so here's a few more from kickoff.

FRC Kickoff 2011

Sonny's once again hosted the team for this year's kickoff. A great turnout as usual and we had Coral Springs HS with us as guests.

Mr. Crawford, Ms. Bubello, and Ms. Petrill joined us as well.

After learning the challenge we did our brainstorming and heard many good ideas.

Now it's time to get to work.

We'll spend the first few days of this week going over the rules, inventorying the kit of parts, and developing a strategy.

We're Back!

Hello everyone,
OK, it's been long enough and it's time to resurrect this blog.

With this writing I just want to say welcome back and get ready for another exciting year of robotics!

One thing I do want to mention is that TNT (the FRC off season event in Tampa) has been canceled so our focus will shift to Vex and getting our FRC prototype gearbox and chassis operational.

I'll post updates over the next week of what we've been working on since school started and what's coming up over the next couple of months so check back often.
